It presents a Mediterranean vegetation, composed of brushwood and trees, like Juniper, Ephedra, Stoneoaks, Masticbushes, Hollies, Carob trees, Wild pines and palmettos.
The urbanization El Nogal certainly is located at one of the most beautiful coastal areas of the whole Spain, the natural reserve "Cerro Gordo". The urbanization is one of the highest located on Costa Tropical. The district is situated in a very calm neighborhood and can be accessed via a private road only. El Nogal lies in the wonderful natural reserve Cerro Gordo, which reaches to the 7 miles away town of Nerja and offers brilliant views towards north to the 1.400 m high mountains of the Sierra de Tejera as well as towards the sea. The district provides a just recently completely renewed infrastructure. One finds exclusively Villa plots and already existing, developed estates only.
